Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains how Railframe (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website or contact us about our business.

1. Who this policy covers

Railframe is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us at hello@railframe.io with privacy questions or requests.

This policy covers our corporate website and related enquiries. Information processed through a separately contracted product or on behalf of a business customer may be covered by additional privacy notices and agreements.

2. Information we receive

  • Information you provide. Your name, business contact details, company, role, interests and anything you choose to include when contacting us or requesting a demonstration.
  • Technical information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps and security logs to deliver and protect the website.
  • Enquiry sources. If you contact us through an advertisement, referral or a third-party lead form, we may receive the information you submit and the source of your enquiry, subject to the notice shown when you submit it.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive information through a general website enquiry.

3. How we use information

We use information to respond to requests, arrange business conversations, understand your requirements, maintain our relationship with you, operate and secure the website, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in communicating with business contacts and protecting our services, legal obligations, or your consent where required. You can object to direct marketing at any time.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel, to understand website use, measure advertising performance and conversions, and support relevant advertising and remarketing where permitted.

These tools may collect cookie and device identifiers, IP addresses, browser and device details, pages visited, referral and campaign information, and interactions with the website. Advertising providers may combine this information with information from their own services, including an account you hold with them, subject to their policies and your choices.

Non-essential cookies and similar technologies require your consent wherever applicable law requires it. Visiting this website or accepting our Terms of Service alone does not provide that consent. You may withdraw consent or object to advertising uses of your information, subject to applicable law.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser and manage advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center, Meta Ad Preferences and your TikTok account’s advertising settings. These controls apply to the relevant browser or platform and do not replace any consent choice required on this website. Blocking cookies may affect some functionality and does not necessarily stop all advertising.

For details about these providers’ handling of information and available choices, see Google’s business data information, Meta’s Privacy Policy and TikTok’s Privacy Policy. The website also requests fonts from Google Fonts; Google receives the network information needed to deliver those files. See Google Fonts and privacy.

5. When information is shared

Information may be handled by providers supporting website hosting, security, communications and enquiry management, as needed to perform those functions. It may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections.

We do not sell website enquiry information for money. Disclosures of identifiers and website activity to advertising partners may nevertheless qualify as a “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Where applicable, you may opt out of those uses or withhold or withdraw consent. Contact us at hello@railframe.io to exercise these choices.

We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Applicable data-protection and international-transfer requirements continue to apply.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. This depends on the nature of your enquiry, an ongoing business relationship, applicable record-keeping requirements and the need to resolve disputes. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, unless a lawful reason requires continued retention.

We aim to protect information with reasonable safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity and use. No website, email system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your privacy choices

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain uses and disclosures. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

To make a request or stop marketing communications, email hello@railframe.io. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and will handle requests within the period required by applicable law. Some rights have legal exceptions. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond or arrange a demonstration without relevant contact details.

8. Children, external sites and updates

This website is intended for business users, not children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us.

External websites and services have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as our activities or legal requirements change, revise the date above, and provide additional notice where required.
